The year is 2052. You are Agent JT Accidenton of the newly-formed League of Nations Combined Anti-Terrorism Organisation (LONCATO), the first ever XNA genetically-enhanced agent to graduate from LONCATO’s rigorous troop-training plan.
XNA, or eXtensible Nucleic Acids, are special genetic materials which have gaps in their information, such that genetic material can be filled in later and give you special abilities. They were discovered in 2002 by some authors creating a fantasy rôle-play game, and advances in cloning and IVF technology have since made it viable to create people with the capability to have modular components added to their chromosomes. The military, and LONCATO in particular, have grasped the tool with both hands and started procreating parentless agents, like yourself, to fight terrorism. Sadly, at its current stage of development, the technology has two flaws; all agents are obsessed by carrots and have an acute dust allergy.
LONCATO was set up by the League of Nations shortly after the Eiffel Tower was destroyed by a terrorist wielding a small firework on Bastille day. Rumours that the tower’s demise may have been a result of rust were quickly dispelled. Now LONCATO seeks not only to destroy the French terrorists who destroyed that famous landmark, but any other terrorist groups around the world.
